For experienced groomers wishing to gain the qualification we can tailor the dog grooming course to your needs and, if all that is required is the assessment (i.e. there is no need for training/ a dog grooming course) then Heavenlyz can deliver the assessment at your workplace providing it meets certain criteria. The Professional Level 3 7763-03 Diploma for professional dog stylists has a pre-requisite of the level 3 certificate. You have three years from date of registration to gain the qualification, though Heavenlyz can extend this period under certain circumstances.
You must have achieved the Level 3 certificate 902 before the Diploma 903 can be claimed.
You will be required to complete the following: –
- Unit 018 Hand Stripping a Dog
- Unit 019 Style and Trim an English Spaniel Coat
- Unit 020 Style and Trim a Short-Legged Terrier
- EITHER: –
- Unit 021 Style and Trim a Poodle Coat OR
- Unit 022 Style And Trim A Long-Legged Terrier Or Schnauzers Coat.
To achieve the Diploma there is no more theory work beyond that which you completed for the certificate.
The Diploma requires practical examinations only.
To complete the Diploma, you can either attend a Heavenlyz venue or the examination can be arranged anywhere mutually convenient for you alone to attend.
You can do one, two or three dogs per examination day but you must complete all three dog examinations to achieve the Diploma.
