Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance (“TAQA”)
This course is for those who want to carry out training and/ or assessment or those who are looking to enter into a role in assessment and quality assurance, either in the work place or class room.
The course consists of one classroom day and a second – optional – day where your tutor will observe you in your current assessing role as well as carry out a professional discussion.
What’s Involved?
The entire theoretical unit is addressed in the classroom day, you will be provided with the information required to maximise the rest of the course and make it as straightforward as possible.
You will required to complete the evidence towards the theory unit at home. All evidence should be completed within a 12 week period from attendance of the classroom day.
Learners may decide to stop at this stage and be awarded the knowledge based qualification only.
Learners can also decide to continue onto the ‘Practitioners’ level. Achieving this requires Heavenlyz to observe you directly during a single visit where you will plan assessment delivery and carry out assessment practice itself including feedback.
What you get
On completion of the course you will gain a nationally recognized assessing certificate, with the flexibility to assess in both the work and classroom environments.
The aim of the course is to give candidates the skills and knowledge to guide others through their learning process with constructive and accurate feedback. Assessing is an ever growing field and this qualification is likely to open up several employment opportunities.

What will I learn?
