Smartpets Grooming and International Animal Care College principal Nichola Moore L.C.G.I. is one of only a handful of European Mastercraftsman qualified groomers. Nichola is also an assessor and verifier of animal care and grooming qualifications.
Smartpets operate from a huge, airy, salon that is well equipped and kept immaculately clean. There is separate bathing, kitchen, finishing and classroom and student facilities. Nichola is a highly experienced groomer, passionate about education, believing that education should be easily accessible to all.
Nichola develops many bite size courses in association with Heavenlyz to complement the grooming qualifications that she offers. She is an award winning groomer, a well known industry consultant and author to grooming magazines and author/ co-author of several grooming and animal care books.
Nichola’s service is supported with over 25 years experience, being City and Guilds Advanced Groomer and Qualified Teacher, soon to achieve the Higher qualification and with a whole host of industry qualifications too many to mention without showing off.
SmartPets Grooming, established in 1990 as a grooming salon in Northern Ireland was awarded the first Accredited Grooming School & Animal Care College providing training of groomers and animal care professionals. Since then SmartPets Grooming School has been training professional pet groomers and are Northern Ireland’s First & Only City & Guilds Accredited Training Centre were you can gain the only industry recognized qualifications.
As proof of Smartpets abilities, over 99% of Smartpets students have obtained their City & Guilds qualification with Distinction.
In addition, for already practicing groomers and their employees in Northern Ireland, Smartpets in association with Department of Employment and Learning Northern Ireland (DELNI) can gain funding of up to 75% for those who wish to achieve a level 3 City and Guilds qualifications.
