About our Cattery
We have three cattery suites to offer you and your cat, all with superior Five Star accommodation, in a peaceful country setting. We pride ourselves on our outstanding cleanliness, decor and furnishings of all our feline suites.
Our cattery is constructed from brick. There are no porous surfaces to harbour disease. There is a continual solid roof over the bedrooms and a solid transparent roof over the patio area, thus creating an outdoors feel, whilst providing protection to our British weather. All our suites are heated or have the comfort of air-conditioning during the warmer months. Floors are tiled and our doors to bedroom areas are transparent again, creating an open plan feel and allowing us to observe its inhabitants without disturbing their peace. All outside doors and dividing walls are made from galvanised steel. Windows and doors have the luxury of transparent removable screens, again allowing us to create an outdoors feel but also providing a draught free, dry and either warm or cool environment, dependant on season.
Heavenlyz is regarded as a leader in the field of cattery management and welfare throughout the UK. Liza prides herself on her feline knowledge and works as a consultant to many animal welfare societies including The Pet Care Trust (where she is involved with education and training requirements of animal related qualifications) and to LANTRA, where she represents the cattery, kennel and grooming profession and helps guide the industry in training and skills requirements.

Heavenlyz grooming training centre runs short courses for customers simply wishing to learn how to safely and successfully groom their own pet but to people who are already involved in the industry, perhaps running their own cattery and wish to offer this as a service to their own customers. Our Suites
The Aegean Suite
Very peaceful, looks out onto pasture land, stream and willow trees, all attracting wildlife, providing an ever changing, extremely motivating and interesting scenery to entertain your cat as they lounge around in our spacious suites on modern cat posts and in lazy hammock chairs. The more athletic cats can get their dose of exercise from our many toys scattered or hanging around the suite, and have daily personnel attention from one of our team for a cosy cuddle or invigorating chase of the rubber mouse attached to the string game.
The agean suite has 7 units, measuring 6ft (1.82m) by 5ft (1.52m) internal bedroom and 6ft by 5ft patio area, all are licensed to accommodate up to five cats from the same house. We also have one large suite measuring 10ft (3.04m) by 5ft bedroom and 9ft (2.65m) by 10ft patio area, licensed to accommodate five cats or more, from same house.
The Mediterranean Suite
The six individual suites are the same measurements as the Aegean suite, furnished with cot beds and warm duvets and pillows, scratch posts and fur lined chairs. Tiled floor has cosy fleece floor mats. All units are licensed for five cats sharing from the same house.
The Penthouse Suite
The Penthouse has six units licensed for two cats sharing from same house and two units for single cats. Each room has bed with veterinary bedding and activity toys. Each penthouse opens via a cat flap onto a perching shelf (because all cats are excellent observers) then a gradual ladder leading down to a patio area that remains protected from the weather. Each patio area has chairs, floor mat, scratch post and activity toys.
Feline Menu
If we don't stock the food you use at home then you may provide the food yourself at no extra cost. However diets requiring lengthy preparation and/or serving time may incur a surcharge.

All our guests are served their morning breakfast routinely 8.30am approx , we serve dry food separate to the wet food, their evening meal is served routinely at 4pm.All food bowls are washed daily in the usual manner then sterilized in a safe cold water sterilizer, then allowed to air dry.
Toilet Trays
We provide toilet trays at a ratio of two per cat, we have experienced that our guests do not like to use the tray more than one visit, so a clean one is always available. For this reason we only fill the lined tray with a shallow amount of litter, because this tray is removed once soiled and replaced with a clean one. All our trays are sterilized once used.
We routinely use a pellet wood based litter. However, we also stock the grey clay clumping type and the white crystal type. We do also on occasions have to turn to the use of compost, in order for our guests who have never had the experience of having to toilet in a tray, to feel more confident. Liza does on these occasions help the cat by gently placing them in the large deep tray and holding their paw, scraps the soil, this action usually makes the penny drop, and we resume normal toileting habits.
We make time during the day to spend a little one to one with your cat/s, usually a gentle massage using a zoom groom rubber brush, or a cuddle, whatever the mood takes.
